How do you calculate a realtor’s child support for two children in Wisconsin?

My ex became a realtor in 2009. When he had a salary, he paid 25% of his gross income for 2 children. How do they calculate the gross earnings that are used to determine the amount of child support?
Wisconsin
(1) Income
(2) Time a child spends with each parent
(3) Whether one supports other children
As a general rule, one is required to pay 17 % of gross for one child and 25% of gross for 2 children.

He’ll still have to pay 25% of whatever he’s making….If you don’t know exactly how much he’s making you can file a lawsuit to have your child support increased. The courts will determine his income from income tax returns and pay records…Be careful though, if he’s a realtor (not too many are getting rich in that racket anymore…), he may actually be making less money than he was before…..

Considering he don’t have a fixed income, it will be calculated based on his income tax and any income being reported.

Since he is just getting established in the job, the judge cannot determine how much he may or may not make this coming year. There is no real way to set a min amount he will make or not, I mean, he may make nothing at all. They may go by how much he made last year, or the judge may end up setting it for what he would be making a min wage job full time and to be evaluated every 6 months till they have a better idea of how much he makes.
