Anyone know of any good websites for looking at property for sale in California / Oregon?

In the UK there are loads of Estate Agent’s websites where you can browse properties without making any commitment, but when I start looking for American Realtor sites it seems you often have to register and give them all kinds of details. We’re not thinking about relocating for another 3-5 years and I just want to get an impression of what kind of property we might be able to afford!!
Realtor.com is a good site. I live in Oregon, if you need further ino, feel free to email me.

I agree, realtor.com is probably the best web site.
I am also in Oregon, and I can tell you it is a beautiful state.
From where I am, the weather can be completely different in a day trip in the car. The west coast of Oregon is a bit rainy, but with mild temperatures all year. Go a bit inland and it doesn’t snow (if it does, it is rare), but has four seasons, and the temperatures can soar into the 100’s in summer. In the Mountains, there are some areas that pretty much have snow year ’round. Then there is central and eastern Oregon, where there are four seasons, and very little precipitation in the summer. Long, hot dry summers!
I’m sure California has its virtues, but Oregon is beautiful!
