Trying to start up a website for realtors…How to get them to join?
I developed a website for realtors which allows them to create web pages for their properties. I am also a realtor so I tried to incorporate features that I would want. They fill out simple forms and upload photos and the system generates a web page for them to send their clients to. They pay a relatively inexpensive monthly fee compared to similar services.
I have had some decent traffic. I have sent out emails to the realtors in my area and even sent out faxes to the real estate offices offering it to them for half price but have had little response.
How can I get them to actually try the service? I know that it it is a good system and that they would benefit from using it.
The website is www.ShowingSPOT.com if you are interested in looking at it.
In a former business, I did a lot of work with realtors. They want something. I used to make small giveaways with my website address to give to agents in my area. The best thing to do, and the agents love it, is find out when the office weekly meeting is. Then ask the receptionist if you can bring coffee and donuts for a morning meeting or pizza for an afternoon meeting? While there make your presentation. Bring a laptop with a working demo and let them ask questions. Have a drawing per office or agency for someone to win a free website.
In my area, all agencies have websites that are linked to an individual agent website, hosted by the agency. Listings are made available on the MLS board, the agency board and the agents page.
It is going to be a hard sell to agency realtors since they already have a product available. You will need to target the small firms and the independents.

You must first advertise it in the local television stations & newspapers. make it a household name. constantly throwing it in their face via marketing will make it desireable. Otherwise, it is another advertiser wanting another dollar from them… and they will see it as a waste of their time.
Advertise the services that the site offers. Make the agents WANT to come to you. Dont go knocking on their door.
They want to know that their potential customers will see their ad on your site just as THEY themselves heard of your site… by constantly being plastered on the tv & newspaper…… not by annoying faxes or mass mailings… that nobody has time to bother with in their busy lives.
It will surely take a little money to get it going, but hopefully it willl pay off huge for you!
I hope this helps!
Enjoy your day.

Hi!
Now you are into something everyone on the web is bothered about. Its simply useless to have a site and you sitting on your couch with dreams, expectations and prayers that one day you might get some "TRAFFIC".
I have been through this phase for quite a long time. The basic problem is- for any search word you type into Yahoo or Google you will get at least a 10 million search results. Out of this huge number only the first 8 results of the first page gets the maximum preference. So where are we?
I can put you up with a source that will provide you with some ultimate tactics which you can implement to drive considerable amount of traffic into your site. This will cost you.And probably the amount won’t turn out to be reasonable for you.But its far less than the amount you will have to spend on SEO.And the best part is the amount you pay will be completely refundable.
The proprietor of the site is a real time genius on online websites traffic generation. This guy was even interviewed on CNBN. I use his skills on my affiliate sales site.It has helped me a lot. They will provide you with down to earth, tried, testified and well recognized system that you will be able to implement with minimal skills.I loved their content.Cause it was really compatible with common man’s skills .And once you are through with your business you will very well recover the little amount spent.
I would suggest you to give it a try.Since What you pay is Completely Refundable–NOTHING TO LOOSE.
You can always keep running behind the free stuff but there’s a problem with it.Every body on the planet runs behind free stuff, free is fascinating. But results are not satisfying. In case you don’t belive me now you will very well realise it in few months time. There is too much hastle on these networks that you will one day starve for a subway. Cause your business unabominably depends on the traffic you drag in, into your site.
just check out and ask yourself, did you know this before!
I believe It will work for you cause it works for me.I Hope you succeed. And attain what you desire.
Click on my avatar and go to my profile where you will find a link as ’site traffic’ in the "about me" section.Right click on it and choose ‘open in new window’ option from the menu. Then you won’t get diverted from your login. It will guide you to your required page.
BEST OF LUCK.
