Wth FSBO you can list in MLS without a realtor for $500 is tehre anothere way to list ?

even if you list with MLS who is going to call without a realtor by looking through MLS listings? Im trying to figure out what is best to do to sell a home without an agent..Thanks

Can’t list it on the MLS without a Realtor – but there are serivices that do it for $200.

Alot of Realtors refuse to work with these companies because they make the buyers agent do everyones job and the sellers generally never price thier home correctly.

If I were you I wouid just try to FSBO it and if it does not work out – call a local Realtor.

Look for you local "For Sale By Owner" company who will supply you with blank contracts, signs etc. I’m not entirely sure you can list on MLS, as this is usually reserved for agents/companies who are members of a local real estate board.

You can’t add listings to an mls system without being a member of that mls board (agent, broker). You would need to be in real estate to become a member of the board and have access to the mls.

The best way to sell a home is with an agent. By selling it yourself you will have to pay for all of the advertising yourself, which can be very costly. You will also have to make yourself available when anyone wants to see your house. You will also have to deal with those who will try to get you to sign contracts with them and then will hold up any deals you might be able to make while they try to find financing for it that they know they can’t get.

It is just easier to use an agent. The money they charge is added to the cost of your house so you don’t have to pay them anything up front. They don’t get paid if your house doesn’t sell, and they don’t send you a bill for the cost of advertising. They also have access to the customers that are looking for a house to buy and FSBO’s aren’t on their lists of available homes, MLS or not. They can also set their buyers up with financing and title companies and can send you only qualified buyers rather than sightseers.
