Anywhere online I can search the MLS for free?

Looking for something in Chicago… Don’t want to bug my realtor for his MLS license.
MLS access is strictly limited to those belonging to the association and a few others, such as appraisers. However, nearly all MLS organizations automatically list their properties on Realtor.Com.
You won’t get all the realtor pertinent information contained in the MLS, but you should be able to see all of the available properties for your specific area.

ziprealty.com is really good. you just have to register. someone will email you but you can just ignore it if you just want to look for houses and not talk with a realtor.

Use http://www.realtor.com. It’s operated by NAR (National Association of REALTORS). Every MLS feeds into this site.
