Can a realtor help find homes for rent?

I live in Orlando and am having a hard time finding a house for rent. I was just wondering if realtors can help find rental properties? Does that come with a fee? Can i contact just any realtor? I have no idea about this stuff.
thanks
Yes, many realtors are hired by the owner to take care of the property management. As for the fee, that is up to the realtor. I would open the phone book and start dialing. The first question to ask is "Do you handle rental property?"

Most Realtor’s in larger cities have a good selection of rental properties available. There is a fee built into the monthly rent, but over all it’s worth the cost to get a good rental property. Many home owners don’t want the hassle of dealing with the rental procedures and let Realtor’s handle the process. A background check and up front deposits apply also in most cases. Just simply call several Realtor’s in the area and see what’s available. Also, you can save yourself a lot of time if tell them what your budget is, and exactly what you are looking for, 3 bedroom, 2 bath, in town, out in the country, etc.

They can, but most won’t. Helping someone locate a rental home takes just as much work (driving, gas $, explaining, phone calls, time, etc) as showing a potential buyer a home, yet the referral fee they are paid is like $100 to $200. Most consider it a waste of time.
Try this link, GREAT site… Look in the housing department.
