What’s the difference between a realtor and a real estate agent?

May 31, 2010 - 2:45 am 4 Comments

I was told there is a difference.
Ah, it’s the NAR and code of ethics that is different. Grr…some things can be so petty! If that’s the only difference, then there isn’t really a difference is there?

All Realtors and real estate agents have real estate licenses. Realtors are members of the National Association of Realtors and, as such, have a Code of Ethics that they are required to abide by.

Real Estate Agent Training – Lead Capture

May 12, 2010 - 12:38 am No Comments

http://CommissionGusher.com Realtor, – Real Estate Agent Training – realtor.ca realtor.com realtors® Every survey, every study, all the data that can be found on the subject of where buyers and sellers are looking for homes today, points to the Internet. When the National Association of Realtors is showing us that over 90% of people going to the web to start their search and 75% of them choosing the first agent they meet then as real estate agents we had better listen up.

The National Association of Realtors also tells us that 88% of agents are still trying to use paper to look for their leads… another interesting statistic I read the other day pointed out that only 7% of people are going to newspapers and magazines to find a home.

My name is James Osmar of http://StrategicSellingTools.com and after 20 years of selling and 5 years of studying the Internet… I have figured out how to push an unlimited number of prospects or leads to your in box.

Miss this and you will look back and wish that you did not, because as REALTORS® we are now on the verge of the biggest opportunity since the inception of the MLS.

What I have done is look at the National Association of Realtors (NAR) and other outside sources of information and build tools and the understanding of these tools so that you will be able to intercept the mass of buyers and sellers before they meet another Realtor or find a house without you.

At this stage whether you are new to the Internet or a pro you must look to the Virtual Market to expand or even keep your business. So go get the virtual Realtor training it is not that hard!

As a Realtor banging on doors is hard, as a REALTOR® dialing hundreds of phone numbers is hard. As realtors getting 5, 10 or 20 hours of training that you can carry for life is not hard.
